What We Do

E. P. Clarke PTO provides volunteers for and sponsors a variety of events throughout the year. We also provide support for the school in various ways. Many of these programs and events are only possible with volunteers like you.  Please contact us if you would like to volunteer or learn more about these activities.

Chess Club – Typically run during Feb and Mar, this after school program allows students to learn and improve their chess skills whether beginner or advanced.

Creative Arts Festival – Typically held in March, this amazing event showcases the performing and visual arts talents of the students at our school.

Ice Cream Social – Held in late August, this is a chance for students to meet their teachers for the year and see their friends again after summer vacation. There is also a new family orientation before this event.

Family Fun Nights – Fun activities for students and their families to enjoy time together held a few times throughout the year.

Holiday Shoppe – Students have an opportunity to purchase gifts for family members and friends in early December.

Math Center – Volunteers help grade math fact tests and recognize the students’ hard work throughout the year.

Mileage Club – For students who want to take the opportunity to walk/run our walking track during their lunch recess. Volunteers punch cards and kids receive tokens for the miles they walk in the fall and spring.

Science or Social Studies Fair – Typically held in January, this event has had a variety of formats from traditional science fair to interactive presentations to encourage enthusiasm for and relate science and social studies to life.

School Picnic/Carnival – Held close to the end of the school year, this is a fun day for the students to celebrate their hard work during the year with tons of fun activities and games.

Tailgate – A fun evening to enjoy time together and build school spirit before a high school football game.
