This is my first year at Lincoln Elementary and St. Joseph Public Schools. I graduated from Hope College where I majored in Elementary Education with a Social Studies composite. Recently, I completed my Master's Degree from Grand Valley State University in Curriculum and Instruction. I spent the last 4 years teaching 5th and 6th grade in Lawrence Public Schools. Things that I enjoy doing in my free time include running, playing basketball, hanging out with family and friends, and rooting on the Chicago Cubs and University of Michigan.
I am excited to join the St. Joseph community as a 4th grade teacher! My goal is to create an engaging atmosphere that leads students to reach their maximum potential. Nothing is as rewarding to me as to see my students grow academically and socially throughout the school year. There are lots of exciting learning opportunities in the 4th grade that I hope will make it a memorable year for your students.
