I have had the pleasure of teaching at St. Joseph Public Schools since I was fresh out of college in 1990. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have minors in math, science, and English, and I've earned a Masters degree from WMU in Reading. Although I spent one year teaching at Upton Middle School, I have spent the rest of my teaching career at Lincoln teaching fourth grade.
I simply adore teaching! I strive to weave enthusiasm into my teaching and interactions with students. It's my greatest joy to watch students reach goals and overcome challenges. The fourth grade curriculum is packed with exciting learning opportunities, and it's not uncommon for me to hear students say at the end of the school year, "This was my favorite year of school!"
