Biography

A Saint Joseph Public Schools Alumni from class of 1990, my desire to the success of every student in the district is without compare.  Working with the other district departments to improve instruction through technology is my passion.

I studied computers, avionics systems, instruments, and aircraft control systems repair in the USAF during the early 90's.  Shortly after leaving the military, with the help of highly intelligent coworkers, we delivered the first independent Internet Service Provider in Berrien County.  I served as a technology consultant for the Venetian Festival for many years, worked on several municipal and educational IT systems ranging from Grand Rapids to South Bend areas, and now donate time to enhance the IT infrastructure to the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds.  My experience in corporate, finance, health care, government, education, and other environments aids in building a solid infrastructure for the education of our youth.

Certified and/or experienced in CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Linux, SQL, VMWare, and other server based technologies, coupled with a BBA with a management/marketing focus from Siena Heights University creates a great mix of Tech and Business skills to aid in our success.

We are the only district in the area to tie almost all of our systems together for Single Sign On to all ancillary systems, making management not only automated, but consistent throughout district.

As a past soccer player and wrestler at my alma mater, a past coach of the SJ Bears girls and boys JV soccer teams, and a mentor the for the SJHS FRC Robotics Team, I understand the value of teamwork, hard work, and education.

I have a incredible desire and focus to make Saint Joseph Public Schools the absolute best district in the State of Michigan.

Bottom line - I'm a proud St. Joe Bear!
