State Championships

There are 20 State Championship trophies in the history of St. Joe High School Athletics, the most coming from the Boys basketball program who have 6 titles, and also from the boys track and field team, who also have 6 titles.
Henry Howe has coached 4 state championship teams, 2 in basketball and 2 in track and field.  Ron Waldvogel is next on the list with 3 coaching titles, 2 in cross country and 1 in track and field. Ed Zick also has 3 coaching titles all in golf. The Boys have 19 of the 20 state championships in St. Joe history. The first title for the girls came in 1979 from the girls track and field team.
