Welcome to my St. Joseph High School web page.I am a transplant from Detroit, but I have lived in this area for 30 years now. I graduated from Central Michigan University in the study areas of both art and social studies. I later received my endorsement in Special Education from Hope College in all subjects and grade levels.
My goal(s) are to help the young people in my classroom to be be as successful in school as they can, both in my class and their general education class(es). The program in the classroom is set up to give and work on transition, problem solving, and affect tools to achieve successfulness in their education at high school. The goal is that these skills will transfer to their work and real life world.
The program also assists our upperclassmen students with the assistance of the Berrien RESA and Michigan Works Programs, help with post graduation studies or jobs.
