Welcome to my personal site for St. Joseph Public Schools.
A Bit About Me
The 2009-2010 school year marks my 6th year as a teacher in St. Joseph. I feel fortunate to have a great job and great people to do it with. I graduated from SJHS in 1997, so I have a great handle on how long it actually does take to walk from class to class!
After high school I attended Michigan State University and in 2002 graduated with a Bachelors in Science (a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry). I subsequently completed a full year of student teaching to earn my teaching certificate. This past May I earned my Master's Degree in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis funded entirely through a National Science Foundation grant.
