Hello and welcome to my webpage! I hope this site will provide you, the parent and the student, with essential resources that will lead you down the road to success in English class.

I began my teaching career so long ago, 1971, that many of you parents reading this were probably my former students! Yes, it is hard for me to believe I have been here so long, too. My longevity is a testament to what a wonderful job and what a great school system we have. I still enjoy meeting new students each year, watching them grow and mature in my classroom. I cannot imagine doing anything else.

I earned both my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Western Michigan University. With so many years of experience, of course, I have taught all areas of our curriculum including English 9, English 10 (American Literature), English 11 (British Literature), Humanities, World Literature, Advanced Placement Literature, and College Writing.
